Strategies for College-Wide Software Implementation | Mission College

This session will provide an opportunity to learn from the trenches.  We will discuss strategies and approaches for implementation of software/technology solutions college-wide. As we implement products such as eLumen  there is a lot that can go right, and wrong. As the Dean of Academic Services and the Dean of Student Services at Mission College, Valerie and Richard have provided leadership for many implementations, including DegreeWorks, Handshake, eLumen, Program Mapper, Cranium Cafe, Starfish, and more!  Highlights will include the importance of leadership from both Instruction and Student Services, how to build implementation teams from your constituency groups, and how to work well with the customer service/implementation support representatives from the software companies.

Presented by Valerie Jensen, Dean of Academic Services, and Richard Alfaro, Dean of Student Support Services, at Mission College
