Mapping for Life: College of the Desert at eLumenation

Join College of the Desert's Corbyn Wild and Kristie Camacho, Professors & SLO Coordinators (yes, both!), in their eLumenation session, Mapping for Life: Leveraging Learning Outcome Mapping and Student Experience to Understand Student Goals Beyond the Campus. As learning outcome and curriculum specialists, we are well-versed in mapping course objects to SLOs to PLOs to ILOs. But what lies beyond the borders of these maps? Where do students see these pieces leading them? How do we contextualize these maps through their career, classroom, and personal goals? In this interactive session, work with a theoretical framework that incorporates student voice in reinterpreting and recontextualizing the maps we’ve made for them.
